Methinks this plan would drop a rather large fly in the ointment (well, mine anyway) because 4 pm on Friday is the busiest hour of the week around here!
That hour is Check In time at the Little English Guesthouse. Even when it’s supposed to be a freezing Saturday night, the days are still a balmy 60 degrees, and guests are still looking for a peaceful, relaxing weekend (and a PROPER night’s rest) at the best bed and breakfast in Florida’s fair Capital.
Thankfully, we’ll all comply and move our clocks one hour forward on Saturday night. And perhaps have a moment of panic on Sunday morning when our body clock tells us something is amiss.
That suits us just fine. Because by then, all the guests will have already checked in for the weekend and it won’t mess up the smooth-as-clockwork operation that we call the Little English Guesthouse.
Riiight – and London Bridge isn’t situated in Arizona, is it?
All that to say, remember to turn your clocks forward one hour on Saturday night. It’s going to be COLD in Tallahassee, so you’ll be ready to get snug as a bug in a rug a bit earlier than usual.
You’ll know it’s time to get up when you smell the coffee.
