We get asked this question quite a lot and the answer is YES! We have all sorts of add on extras. Our most popular add on is our fluffy bathrobe! Just $65, with our monogram, all wrapped and ready to go. Folks will often use one of our bathrobes in the room, and then want one to take it home as a souvenir. Some guests purchase the very robe they’ve used while they’ve stayed with us. Others want to purchase one so it’s all wrapped in clear cellophane with a ribbon, awaiting their special someone when they enter the room. The choice is always yours!
When you’re online making your reservation, you have the option of adding things to the room, so it’s all one transaction. We can have sparkling wine on ice, with champagne glasses, on a silver platter waiting for your arrival. Or roses. Scattered across the bed (those petals are silk) – or a dozen in a vase.
Who wouldn’t love a dozen (or two roses) in the room upon arrival. We can add candles to a darkened room (they’re LED, so as not to set off the fire alarm!), if you let us know your estimated time of arrival. Or some Peterbrooke chocolates, or a little basket of cookies for those with a sweet tooth. For wedding couples, they love to have the London room king bed draped with white tulle and rose petals leading them to their room.
We’ve got a local massage therapist just around the corner in the Market District with whom we can make your appointment for a relaxing massage while you’re staying with us.
Those are just some of the choices of add on’s – but we’re open to suggestion!
We have a guest who comes through every Christmas season for the last few years. She calls in advance to ask for something “special” to be in the room. One year she wanted robes with yellow rubber bath ducks wrapped with them. Another year it was a Mary Kay skincare event. Given enough time, we can put it together, if you know roughly what you want. But give us enough time to find the items, because these days that can take a bit longer than it used to…
