It’s been a scorcher of a summer! Triple-digit temperatures, stifling humidity, afternoon thunderstorms that last into the night added to all the other troubles we’ve had this summer. It just seemed like the heat (the political, emotional, financial and atmospheric heat) would never end..
But end it did (I’m talking about the weather, here!). Cooler temperatures are on the way, easier breathing outdoors, perhaps allergies and all their dastardly symptoms preventing you from living life to it’s fullest without having to ingest drugs (or local honey) are gone.
We put up a sail shade over our swing in the little English garden when the sun went from lovely to brutal, around late May. Wish we’d discovered these little gems earlier in life, we could have spent more time sitting outside, drinking tea, rather than hiding in our air-conditioned bed and breakfast.
So we’re inviting you to come sit awhile, summer or winter, and enjoy a cup of tea with us…all the troubles tend to dissipate with some tea and sympathy, don’t you think?
