Weeks of scorching triple digit heat has now given way to a week of torrential rain (commonly known as gully-washers) that has given us flash flood advisories all week, lightening popping all around us and thunder loud enough to make humans as well as dogs jump out of their skins.
Which means, we pull the plug on computers, modems and TVs. We’ve replaced one too many in recent years due to lightening induced power surge.
So now no computer work is being done.
It’s raining outside, so no gardening is getting done.
All the filing is done, All the laundry has been folded.
Time to make a cup of tea and sit somewhere for a while until we can be productive again.
