This wandered across my screen recently and I had to repost it.
Maybe I’m just getting old-er, but this resonated with me.
I no longer feel the need to argue every point, particularly with people who are obviously not listening. I’m not the person I used to be. Some family members are happy about this particular growth!
But then there are things that are just not right. And I feel the need to point that out. Some people are not so happy about this change.
People change, God doesn’t. I kind of like the new, more mature me. I like being at peace with the knowledge that there’s a season for everything, and that involves speaking up, and sometimes remaining silent.
