What a great idea in Japan. If you’ve ever parked “not quite correctly” next to a pump and found the hose won’t reach your tank, or like me, parked on the wrong side of the pump, you’ll like this.
In Japan their gas pumps are connected to the ceiling, and the pipes hang down and can be pulled or retracted as needed. Imagine never having to back up a couple of inches, or pull forward a foot, or do a 17-point turn in a tight space to drive around to another pump.
That would be so nice.
